About this spot
A water-plant garden on the shore of Lake Biwa in Kusatsu, with more than 100 kinds of lotus, including the ancient Oga lotus, and a water-lily pond flowering in many colours from June. Lotus close in the afternoon, so come in the morning; in lotus season the garden opens early.
