The calendar is the way in. Underneath it sits the ordinary thing — search, filter by month or flower, and open any of the 412 spots.

A single weeping cherry thought to be over 1,000 years old, its branches spilling down like a waterfall, hence the name. One of Japan's three great cherry trees and in 1922 among the first cherry trees made a national natural monument. Viewing fee about 500 yen in season; very crowded on peak weekends.
