About this spot
About 1.5 to 2 million sunflowers on a 23-hectare hillside in Hokuryu, one of Japan's largest sunflower fields. The Hokuryu Sunflower Festival runs from late July to mid August. Entry is free; the maze and the field tour car have small fees, and parking is about 500 yen.
