About this spot
About 400,000 sunflowers on some 4 hectares of farmland in Akeno, Hokuto, with the Southern Alps, Yatsugatake and on clear days Mount Fuji behind. The Hokuto Akeno Sunflower Festival runs from late July to mid August, and the fields are open to walk through.
